The addition of a full-time Sailing Director for both the MBJA and MBYC will be a pivotal and highly visible position that will help significantly promote and grow sailing throughout the community and region.
As of this writing, six resumes have been submitted and four candidates interviewed. In addition, two individuals will have face to face interviews within the next week. The goal remains to have a candidate on staff by the middle of March to help MBJA and MBYC plan for the upcoming season.
To date, as shown above, commitments of $91,500 per year from many generous donors! And although we are truly grateful for this support, we are still short of fulfilling our goal by $77,600 per year. The goal for successfully fulfilling this campaign is April 1, 2014.
